The mere presence of a bat outdoors is sometimes beyond the tolerance of some people. Don’t let others scare you into paying more than you should for bat removal. Empower yourself with information & facts on the bat removal process. Plain and simple, we absolutely need bats to survive but by no means should be allowed to stay inside our homes or attics. We can help!
Bats are a protected species. Both State & Federal Regulations protect vital species. The Bat Maternity Season is established by each State and in Georgia, it varies slightly each year but it is typically from the end of April – August. During this time there is a blackout on removing bats IF you cannot verify that there aren’t any flightless babies. You wouldn’t want to evict the nursing Mothers when the babies cannot take flight. BUT keep in mind if the bats are loose in your attic (breached the gable vent screen) then you have to give them the benefit of the doubt that they can be inside the attic and you just cannot see them. Bats can amazingly hide in a crack the width of a #2 pencil.
In Acworth Bats commonly enter buildings through openings associated with the roof edge and valleys, eaves, apex of the gable, chimney, attic or roof vent, dormers, and siding (see photo). Other openings may be found under loose-fitting doors, around windows, and gaps around various conduits (wiring, plumbing, air conditioning) that pass through walls, and through utility vents. But honestly, 90% of our bat removal jobs are in the gable vents alone. We only seal what we feel is necessary to keep the bats out & to date we have never had a breach in our work.
Our Bat Removal process is actually laid out pretty simple. If you know what you are doing and take the time to do it right, it is easy to get the bats out of the attic. All of our work comes with a FREE 10-year warranty with an optional LIFETIME renewal!
We thoroughly explain each step in the process.
