Consumer Beware. Don’t put in weight into “the Best of…” awards or accolades when making a decision as to which company you want to do business with.

I’ve gotten a few of these type of things. Also same with angieslist and sites like that. As long as you pay, they recommend you even if you are terrible at what you do.
Every trapping situation has to be assessed and the Wildlife Tech determines what traps will be the most productive.

OUR COMPANY IS DEEPLY SADDENED BY THE NEWS!
We are shocked that a National Franchise such as TruTech Wildlife can flagrantly disregard the Federal & State Laws and illegally poison so many geese and walk away with just a fine of $50k. Seriously, $50k is a drop in the bucket to them.
Canada geese are a protected species under state and federal law, which means it is illegal to hunt, kill, sell, purchase or possess the geese except according to Georgia’s migratory bird regulations.
The US Fish & Wildlife requires a State Biologist to issue a permit to deal with Geese, The Department of Ag issues licenses for Pest Control Companies to use poison (bait) to kill rodents (not labeled for birds). So if the company mixed food with poison that is yet another law that was broken. Yet, they get smacked on the hands.
I don’t know details of how they poisoned them but I can imaging they mixed poison with some sort of feed. If so, what about the poison left on the ground? What about domestic cats & dogs accessing it. This is an apartment complex… what about the kids having exposure to it?
It has always frustrated us that companies take advantage of the DNR’s lack of law enforcement manpower and just disregard the laws of our licenses.

Shame on Trutech Wildlife Service!
I am not sure why the Apartment complex wasn’t fined or charged. We used to handle the account and did a great job humanely controlling the goose population. goosecontrol.biz. We discouraged depredation permits and completely encouraged hazing services. It requires following our instructions while providing hazing services and prohibiting the residents from feeding the geese, which is illegal anyways. I guess humane & ethical hazing services was the harder route.
TRUTECH’s website brags about having over a Century of Bird Control Expertise – Obviously ZERO ethics! … See MoreSee Less
Actually you can hunt them with the proper hunting license. However they should not have been poisoned.
Lets hope covid19 gets the bust#rd back
So sad…makes me mad 😠..I'm disgusted by people.like this I love when the geese come to my pond I love to watch them
This is heartbreaking!
I sent them a message expressing my disgust. I suggest everyone that reads this and agrees, do the same. Ugh! Who else can we write so this doesn’t happen again.. they should have had more than a slap on the wrist. Absolutely horrid!
I hope the apartment complex was sued as well as the company that put the poison out!
They should BOTH be sued individually for the crime!
Tenants should break their leases with psychological trauma as cause!
Leave the complex empty!
This is heartbreaking and disgusting. I will never understand how federal laws can be broken and minimum fines issued. People should be going to jail for animal abuse. City of Valdosta dumps waste into the Withlacoochee River and just pays the fine.
Wonder if they could be sued for animal cruelty…
Everyone should be enraged about this.😡
What a insult to Canada
Da fuck? How? On purpose? Only $50k what about the soil, fish insects other birds?
How do people sleep at night

Why did they feel the need to poison them? Could they not just have moved them? 😢
This is a disgrace to Pest Control. You should never have to kill a protected species to Move It from a property. However Southern Wildlife Management, hazing an endangered or protected species is also illegal without specialized permits granted by the Department of Agriculture and the department of fisheries and wildlife.
the goverment is fining a pastor in northern ca, 1.6 million dollars for holding worship services.
our liberal government is out of control.
www.facebook.com/TheEstatesAtJohnsCreek/. This is the complex right???
Leave to the fucking piece of shit state of Georgia to look the other way. The company must be from Atlanta where all the assholes live.
